Rabbi Sivan Navon-Shoval
Rabbi Sivan Navon-Shoval came on as Congregation Shir Hadash's rabbi in November 2021. Born and raised in Jerusalem, she continues to live there with her husband and three daughters. Sivan has an extensive background in Jewish education and has worked over the years creating Jewish learning experiences for youth and young adults in Israel, the United States, Europe, and the former Soviet Union.
Dr. Dana Avrahami Tzfati
Dana Avrahami Tzfati is a scientist at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the co-chair of Kehilat Shir Chadash. Dana, her husband Dudy and their three children moved to Zur Hadassah fourteen years ago. In her role as co-chair, Dana seeks to advance pluralism in Israeli society and bring the values of the Reform movement to the awareness of more Israelis.
Michal Makov-Peled
Michal Makov-Peled oversees the “Shin-Shin” shlichim (gap year after high school) program of the Jewish Agency. She and her husband Roey served as shlichim to the Jewish community of Milwaukee before moving to Tzur Hadassah in 2016 with their three young children. Michal hopes to increase our membership among young families through engaging and thoughtful programming.
